Director of Operations

The Director of Operations is primarily responsible for keeping minutes, historical records, maintaining office operations, reserving event locations, and booking catering.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Facilitate location/catering reservation processes
  • Serve as UPB Historian
  • Record minutes at all Leadership Team meetings and then distribute them to all Leadership Team members
  • Keep current files of UPB meeting minutes
  • Coordinate the logistics for Program Proposal Retreats with the Vice President
  • Manage UPB equipment including, but not limited to, scheduling, maintenance, and ordering supplies
  • Maintain the organization of the office and storage areas
  • Keep accurate inventory records of all supplies
  • Communicate with the Leadership Team outside of regularly scheduled meetings
  • Attend mandatory events and meetings designated by the Leadership Team
  • Support event coordinators through attendance at meetings and programs
  • Coordinate the transition process of the successor to the Director of Operations position
  • Manage and organize all position-specific Teams folders and files
  • Sign and follow the UPB confidentiality agreement
  • Complete other duties as assigned
