Vice President

The Vice President is primarily responsible for recruiting, training, and retaining UPB members.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Assume the President position if a vacancy occurs, and the responsibilities of the President in their absence
  • Coordinate all recruitment and retention efforts for UPB membership
  • Coordinate Leadership Team Retreat(s) with the President and the advisor(s)
  • Coordinate training of UPB members
  • Coordinate internal UPB social events
  • Coordinate the evaluation process of UPB members with the advisor(s)
  • Coordinate the UPB election process, including applications and interview materials, with the President
  • Coordinate the transition process of incoming Leadership Team members with the President
  • Coordinate the Passing of the Gavel event
  • Establish and maintain UPB alumni relations
  • Maintain all membership documents
  • Communicate with the other members of the Leadership Team outside of regularly scheduled meetings
  • Support Event Coordinators through attendance at meetings and programs
  • Attend mandatory meetings and events designated by the Leadership Team
  • Maintain internal UPB communication through various mediums
  • Coordinate the transition process of the successor to the Vice President position
  • Manage and organize all position-specific Teams folders and files
  • Sign and follow the UPB confidentiality agreement
  • Complete other duties as assigned
